Telephone Consulting
First Month following your joining the Management Programme: An evaluation of your needs will be followed up with sudden impact planning to help "kick-start" you and your team's involvement in the positive growth of your business.

Mentor Assigned: You will be assigned a mentor (a dentist who's successfully completed the programme) for brainstorming, problem solving, accountability, coaching and support.

Regular Consultations: You will have consultations with your mentor and other Momentum staff. This will be catered to your individual needs to assist in the implementation of what you're learning, and will be focused on your biggest opportunities for growth.

Action Plans: Every month you will implement an action plan that has been custom suited to your practice and has been developed with the assistance of your mentor/consultant.

Products and Materials
Preparatory Materials: Prior to the commencement of the workshop curriculum, you and your team will complete preparatory materials, including anonymous team questionnaires, reflective modules on your personal motivation and leadership skills, historical data on your expenses and production, and annual and monthly budgeting exercises.

Verbal Skills Handbook: Ever wonder how to say or word something? Well your days of wondering are over. During the 1st year of the programme you will be given a handbook complete with Verbal Skills and scripts for handling every situation imaginable! From now on you'll be an expert at such things as handling cancellations, handling emergencies, asking for referrals, appointing working patients (for times convenient for you), collecting accounts, confirming patients and tons of other situations!

Forms: Over the course of the programme, you will receive forms for everything. These include: monthly and annual expense worksheets, Key Performance Indicators, confrontation scripts, staff meeting agendas, new patient and case acceptance rate tracking forms, growth conference and salary review forms, patient exam forms, consultation preparation guides, you name it, we have a form or a script for it!

Website Access: You will receive your own username and password to the Clients Only section of our website, where you will have access to all sorts of forms, guides and verbal skills scripts. Additionally, through an email list serve, you will be able to communicate with the entire Momentum community with the push of a button. With a single email, you will be able to contact all our client dentists to ask for advice about any questions or concerns, look for staff, research equipment or discuss any topic you'd like.

Electronic Spreadsheets: After manually tracking your numbers for a few months (to build your familiarity with them), you will be given electronic spreadsheets to create your annual plans and to track your monthly Key Performance Indicators and your monthly expenses.

Newsletters: You will receive our quarterly newsletters.

You Belong to a Group of Dentists of Distinction who like you, are in Pursuit of Excellence

One of the by-products of the Momentum Programme is that you become part of an elite group of dentists in your area. Our clients demonstrate a strong commitment to growth, quality and excellence. You and your team will remain with the same group of dentists for the entire two and a half (2 ½) years of the course. The camaraderie that develops within and amongst the groups is amazing to behold. Many close friendships will be formed. Most groups become close knit and supportive. You begin to use the group as your "Board of Directors" to help you make decisions, make you aware of your blind spots, offer suggestions and hold you accountable for follow-through.

Workshops 1 - 4
Based on a belief that you learn by "doing" and that learning can be fun, we use accelerated learning techniques to ensure that we not only teach you the material, but that you and your team learn what's being taught. In the team workshops, your staff members interact and network with their peers from the other teams. This is particularly valuable when they sit with staff from other practices, who share the same job descriptions, and compare their experiences and create new ones.
