 All of Momentum’s internal coach/trainers are exceptionally intelligent, backed by relevant experience. As part of our rigourous recruitment process, they are run through a battery of aptitude and capacity tests by an independent reviewer (Chandler Macleod Consulting). We find that the people we tend to choose have results in the top 5% or better of the Australian population, and we are very proud of the high calibre of our staff.
 Dr Toni Surace, BDSc
Position: Managing Director, Momentum Management, Mentor, Coach & Presenter
Dr Toni Surace graduated from Melbourne University in Dental Science in 1995 and formed her practice, Smile Style Dental in 2000. As a Principal Dentist, Dr Surace went through the Momentum Management Program and found the experience life-changing; enabling her to transform her practice into the success it is today. At present, her practice is run remotely, allowing her to be selective in the type of dentistry she personally does and providing her an opportunity to fulfil her other passion of helping dentists run their business more effectively and efficiently. Today as the head of Momentum Management, she has become a renowned international presenter, where she is able draw on her own experiences to help others.
MOMENTUM TRAINERS
 Joanna Gray
Position: Trainer/Coach
Joanna holds a law degree and has a PhD in Management, which focuses on building intra-organisational trust. Prior to joining Momentum in 2005, she lectured at Deakin, Monash and Melbourne Universities at undergraduate and MBA levels. She has consulted SMEs in a variety of industries including abattoirs, hotels and dairy farming. During Joanna’s time at Momentum, she has worked with clients from a diverse selection of both general and specialist practices from all over Australia and New Zealand. She thrives on supporting her clients through any challenges that arise and on celebrating their successes with them.  Antje JanssenPosition: Trainer/Coach
Antje is the author of "A Generous Nature,” a book which outlines the ground breaking coaching methodology she pioneered and introduced to Australia in 2003. She has been coaching and training for over 15 years.
As an HR specialist, Antje has a strong background in business administration, performance management, personality, and workplace training. She has a bachelor of Business, Cert IV and Diploma in Training and is accredited in DISC. Her psychometric test scores put her in the top 2% of the Australian population for abstract reasoning.
 Kamal RajPosition: Trainer/Coach
Kamal is a dentist, who graduated from the University of Melbourne 1989. He is a founding member of the Melbourne Seattle Study Club, a group of 30 general dentists and specialist that meet monthly to discuss interdisciplinary treatment. In 2009 he graduated from the Momentum Management program, and later joined Momentum as a Mentor/Coach. He is a trained practioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, and a firm believer in achieving the best work life balance possible.
 Tracey Cantle
Position: Trainer/Coach
Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP, Certified NLP Life Coach Before joining Momentum Management, Tracey was in a private practice where she specialised in Break thru Life Coaching, enabling individuals to make peace with their past, give up their excuses, and release their limiting emotions and decisions so they can design and start living the life of their dreams. Tracey’s background as a Registered Nurse, creator, owner and manager of several successful bars and restaurants in New Zealand, combined with her cutting-edge coaching skills, allows her clients to create long-lasting change and produce results they never thought were possible.
 Marianne SourialPosition: Trainer/Coach
Marianne holds an LLB/BComm from La Trobe University and began her professional career as a Solicitor working at a Commercial Law firm. A perpetual student, she has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Certificate IV in Business, Diploma of Coaching, is a qualified NLP Practitioner and is completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology at the University of Melbourne. With a passion for all things business and coaching and being married to a Dentist, she finds herself wholeheartedly aligned to the vision and work of Momentum Management. She has a creative and entrepreneurial side and in her spare time has successfully co-designed and launched the DecoGlideTM, a patented innovative home ware product.  Kristian Van Staveren
Position: Trainer/Coach Kristian successfully grew his business from a one-man practice to become one of Melbourne’s largest allied health clinics. His practice went on to win several small business awards and was recognized for its results in effective online marketing and ongoing client communication. After successfully selling his clinic in 2009, Kristian has turned his focus to help other to achieve the same success as a coach and trainer with Momentum Management. He has a real passion for seeing businesses flourish and helping both owners and employees reach their full potential. MOMENTUM STAFF
 Cathryn Atkinson
Position: Office Manager
Cathryn has been with Momentum since 2007 and oversees the running of the office and administration. She comes from a diverse working background. She studied stage management and other technical aspects of theatre before working in the industry in various areas. Cathryn spent four years in New York before heading home and entering the events industry. She created and co-ordinated many events across Australia, ranging from private functions to government events and corporate occasions. Outside her career she has been involved in many projects including setting up a national school arts programme, community non-profit organisations and a creative consultant.  Jacqui JohnsonPosition: Marketing Manager
Jacqui has over 20 years of marketing experience. Her extensive career includes roles as Regional Marketing Manager for a British publishing firm in Hong Kong and Director of Marketing for a Hi-Tech Company based in Silicon Valley, California. Her career highlights include hosting 1993 Asian Direct Marketing Symposium and achieving #8 on the Best Sellers List in Asia. She has successfully launched over 20 products in several industries, providing her with the opportunity to shine across various marketing disciplines. She is responsible for the modernization of the Momentum brand, CRM and website and is looking forward building strong relationships with industry associations and partners.
 Katie Hayes
Position: Event Manager
Katie studied at Griffith University where she gained a double degree, majoring in Event Management and PR. Coming from a retail background, she understands the importance of, and is passionate about, providing our clients with exceptional customer service. Katie organises all of Momentum Management’s events and she is your first point of contact for any workshop or short-course queries you may have. This is Katie’s first foray into the dental world and she is committed to ensuring anyone who attends a Momentum event has the best experience possible.  Simone Mercuri
Position: Client Liaison Manager
Simone has over 18 years of dental industry experience. As a practice manager she has been through the Momentum Management Program on two occasions. Her excellent communication skills lead her to the role of trainer for a leading dental software company. Her understanding of the challenges of running a practice, the Momentum program and the dental industry provides Simone with a unique ability to assist our clients through their Momentum journey.
 Clea Haarburger
Position: Personal Assistant
Clea joined the Momentum team in 2012. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Melbourne, studying a Double Major in Media and Communications and Politics and International Relations. She loves meeting new people and talking their ears off. Clea enjoys being part of the enthusiastic team at Momentum as she has found Momentum a great place to learn and develop both personally and professionally. MOMENTUM COACHES
Raj Kale
Based: Perth
Position: Trainer/Coach
Specialties are accounting, strategy and change management
Raj is a Dental Practice Owner / Manager, Graduate of Momentum’s Management Program and a Momentum trainer / coach. Raj is a CPA, with a background in business management and management consulting, specialising in small to medium sized businesses. He has worked for multinational corporations in their Finance and IT departments, exploring all aspects of the organisation from individual project management through to strategic planning. He has specialised in change management and business planning for all sizes of organisations from large corporate organisations to SME’s and individual owner operator businesses.
Jeffrey Jankie
Based: Melbourne
Position: Faculty Speaker
Jeffrey is a dentist, Momentum graduate, Alumni member, and trainer for Momentum with a particular focus on case presentation and clinical diagnosis.
For ten years he ran multiple practices, but for the last 20 has been immersed in a patient focused accelerated practice in the south east suburbs of Melbourne. His hygiene department has been operational since the early 1990s.
Jeffrey sat on the Practice Administration Committee of the ADA VB including a stint as chairman, involved in running seminars and programs to assist dentists in operating their practices more efficiently. He is a member of the Australian Society of Periodontology,
The Australian Society of Endodontology, the Australian Society of Aesthetics and the Melbourne Seattle study club.
Last year, Jeffrey spent 6 months volunteering overseas in a war torn area to provide dentistry. He left his practice in the hands of a great team, running under Momentum systems with a resultant measurable growth in the practice.
David Rumble
Based: Christchurch
Position: Faculty Speaker
David is a New Zealand dental graduate, BDS, 1995, IV sedation qualified and a Momentum Management Program graduate. He has a background in Hospital dentistry, including leadership roles. The owner of two dental practices in Christchurch when he started his Momentum Management program, he sold one to concentrate on his private practice, Darfield Dental Centre in Canterbury.
David has a strong interest in complex restorative dentistry and surgery. He is also a consultant with 6 New Zealand District Health Boards, to assist private dentists with the implementation of Government contracts and advise the district health boards. He is certified to assist in Auditing, with a specific interest in dental orientated Audits.
David presents workshop 2 for Momentum, and enjoys working with MP dentists to improve, expand and develop their dental practices. His strengths are motivation and implementation of systems. He is skilled at the management and utilisation of staff within these systems.
Charlotte de Courcey-Bayley
Based: Sydney
Position: Coach
Charlotte is a General Dentist and a graduate from Momentum’s Management Program. She has held every position in a dental practice from nurse, receptionist, practice manager, to employed dentist and practice owner. She is the current President of the AACP (American Academy of Craniofacial Pain). She graduated from Sydney University with a 1st class Honours and runs a differentiated practice that focuses on many aspects of dentistry, orthodontics, orthopedics, TMJ pain management, periodontics, cosmetic dentistry plus nutrition and alternative medicine. Charlotte is also a qualified Bowen Practitioner.
